Help Desk Support

Quantum Tech Staffing is seeking a Help Desk Support for a contract position in Trenton, NJ.

The Candidate will assist in the daily technical assistance and help desk support . The services of the consultant will assist the primary technical support person with technical and help desk support in periods of need and/or absence.

This position requires a candidate that has the aptitude to learn and strong customer service skills. While training is provided, a qualified candidate must have prior technical exposure and customer service phone skills.

This position requires candidates that can lift heavy equipment (40 pounds+) and is comfortable working with a small group with multiple roles (desk side, phone support).

Help Desk Roles and Responsibilities:
o Handling of sponsors' calls/emails and resolving sponsors' phone and email inquiries
o Understanding of the Application System/Reimbursement System/Direct Certification Applications
o Understanding of Food Distribution Programs
o Ability to generate authorization codes to new users through the portal's Role Manager
o Ability to elevate program level inquiries to proper Child Nutrition staff

Technical Roles and Responsibilities:
o Resolve Food and Nutrition user technical inquires in timely manner
o PC Troubleshooting skills
o Knowledge of Windows 7/Windows XP operating Systems
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
o Configuring of PC'sLaptopsPrinters
o Configuring of Software
o PrinterCopier Troubleshooting skills
o Maintain accurate supply of network/desktop and copier supplies
o Change printer/copier toner at user request
o Maintain accurate records of IT equipment signed out of office
o Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware/software assets
o Maintain recalibration schedule for Opscan 4 scanner

Clerical Roles and Responsibilities:
o Procurement or hardware/software quotes
o Paperwork for procuring hardware/software through completion of OIT checklists
o Paperwork for procuring services through completion of OIT checklists

Required skills:
o Prior experience supporting XP – 1 year
o Hands on experience with Windows 7 – 1 year
o Experience with MS Office 2007 and above – 1 year
o Prior PC Support experience – 1 year
o Experience in customer service documentation – 1 year
o Strong phone support and verbal communication skills
