Quantum Tech Staffing is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position in Trenton, NJ.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for supplementing the existing business analyst staff of the NJ State Agency in gathering requirements for, testing, documenting, and implementing a web-based court application.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of management, candidate will participate in all phases of project development including, but not limited to, the following activities:
o Gathering requirements and analyzing user needs including business modeling, definition of use cases, and creation of requirements documents
o Executing system testing and facilitating user acceptance testing including writing test scripts and test plans.
o Creating end-user documentation including quick start guides, user manuals, and on-line help systems.
o Implementing the application including creating lesson plans, scheduling training, and facilitating training.
o Assisting the users during, and after, implementation via on-site and remote support.
o Other duties as necessary
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree
o Business analysis and requirements gathering – 5 years
o Writing requirements documents – 5 years
o Writing user manuals and other training materials – 5 years
o Developing lesson plans and teaching software applications – 5 years
o Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer – 5 years
o Microsoft Visio – 2 years
o Mercury Quality Center and HTML
o Designing of application screens or web pages
o Able to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
o Able to work independently and as a member of a team
o RoboHelp or other help authoring tool
o Executing system testing and facilitating user acceptance testing – 5 years
